Dog Friendly At The Hope Scott Wing

Your four-legged friends are always welcome at the Hope Scott Wing.

Sir Walter Scott loved dogs, particularly his beloved Maida, who was often by his side, and this tradition remains at Abbotsford. Guests can bring up to three dogs that can enjoy their stay on the lower ground floor of the Wing, equipped with two dog beds, dog bowls and grooming equipment.

Our magnificent woodland areas and picturesque gardens provide plenty of open space for dogs to enjoy and they will receive a warm welcome at our on-site café.

From the Guestbook

There were 15 of us all staying at the Hope Scott Wing for a special family occasion. The accommodation was absolutely beautiful and in fantastic condition. The house catered for all ages and was truly magical. Carole and Ann couldn't have been more helpful when booking and showing us around the house. It was so good, we are already discussing booking again for next year!
