We aim to provide our guests with the confidence and reassurance that our accommodation will be presented to an industry leading standard.
Creating a safe environment for our guests is our priority and therefore we have undertaken a comprehensive risk assessment of our accommodation and introduced enhanced cleaning measures in accordance with Scottish Government and industry guidelines. In doing so, we have been accredited with Visit Scotland’s ‘We’re Good to Go’ and World Travel and Tourism Council's ‘Safe Travel’ stamps.
These cleaning measures include, but are not limited to:
Meticulous cleaning of the kitchen and any shared items between each set of guests
Using a recommended cleaning product effective against the virus in high touch point locations
All staff wearing full PPE whilst cleaning
Increased ventilation of the rooms during changeovers
Providing hand sanitiser in all our public rooms.
When your booking is confirmed the lead booker will receive up to date guidelines. We expect this information to be passed on to all party members and for everyone to adhere to these guidelines throughout your stay. We also ask for guests to provide up to date contact details for the Government’s Track and Trace system.
All bookings are subject to relevant government restrictions at that time. If the Scottish or UK Government Coronavirus restrictions do not allow your booking to go ahead or you (or anyone in your party) has been confirmed with Covid 19 or are self-isolating, we are offering the flexibility to change the dates of your stay (seasonal price variations can apply) or receive a full refund.
To minimise social contact upon arrival, a maximum of two members of your party will be greeted, adhering to social distancing, by our accommodation Supervisor who will then show you around the property and provide all the information for you to pass onto the remaining members of your party.
During your stay, we ask that all guests practice good hand hygiene, utilising the hand sanitiser provided throughout the property, as well as placing any items you have enjoyed, such as the games and books available in the Lockhart Library and Drawing Room, in the COVID boxes provided.
In the morning before departure, we ask you to open the bathroom and bedroom windows and place your used linen and towels in the bags provided. These will be washed, alongside the mattress and pillow protectors, at high temperatures.
